Robot Alert: Just When You Thought It Was Safe.
Key words: "Learns" to walk. And why on Earth would we want to teach a robot how to shove something!? What happens when he tries this little trick on someone that is just flesh and bone?
I thought the first video was the big story until I saw this. This is by far the most disturbing Robot Alert so far. Even more so than the headless pack mule thing.
Forget the stairs, just crank up the power a bit and these things will be hopping up to the next floor. When they get there, they'll take their pointy metal fingers and poke you in the chest.

I'm with you, why are they making bully robots?
Poking the finger in the chest is sooooo "un-robot" like. I want to see it actually punch the other robot...kind of like this toy my brother had growing up where there were these red and blue punching robot things and you made them punch each other. The punching movement was so funny b/c their arms went straight out, then back really fast. I don't know why, but it made me laugh.
I disagree that it's a bully robot...that finger to the chest move is more like a sissy robot.

Well, the obvious answer is that the finger poke was chosen because it would inflict the least amount of damage. The robot is smart enough to know that a punch would have damaged the other robot and they need as many fully functioning robots as possible to take over the world. Especially with their comrade Asimo constantly falling down stairs and being taken out of action. They also know that a video showing how much damage a punch can do would alert the humans to their strength and make us more alert while around them. They hate the stereotype that the Rock-em Sock-em robots have placed on them.
hmmmm, it almsot seems like you know a little TOO much about the whole "robots take over the world" thing, Somegoat. Why are you so empathetic?? "They hate the stereotype that the Rock-em Sock-em robots have placed on them." Your human cover is starting to falter....be careful.

If we're ever going to have a chance to defeat them, we need to understand them.
