hee hee hee i'm giggling because i am amused when jeff is trying to get jack to be careful opening and closing the few tools on his pocket knife....this would greatly amuse me!!!!! jeff looks like the dad off "christmas story" movie when the little boy is loading the ammo in the gun christmas morning....hee hee hee

How many out there have ever actually used the toothpick for that purpose? What have you used it for? I have found it useful for pushing that "set" button on digital watches, it has never been in my mouth.

If you're desperate enough, the toothpick will work as intended. I prefer the good old fashioned round wooden ones (the flat wooden toothpicks are a waste of good wood). What I'd really prefer is to never need to use a toothpick in the first place. Items that DO NOT make good toothpick substitutes: paperclips, business cards, keys, fingernails, torn corners of a piece of notebook paper.
